What it’s about:
It’s time to pull out the trusted hub-and-spoke model of change champions and have a real talk about what this looks like in practice. For many in our community, champions have been a key to advocating change, managing resistance and building trust across changing organisations. For others, the experience has led them to question whether we need them at all.
Our community is asking:
- What is the value of change champions for the business investing in change?
- How might we get the most value out of champions and balance business-as-usual work?
- What makes a suitable champion and how might we identify them from those simply on the bench?
- How might we maintain champion growth and momentum?
- What other models out there are working alongside democratised, open-source change approaches?
