EQ and the Future of Work | Human Intelligence is the new EQ

April 13, 2021 @ 7:30 am - 8:15 am

$10.00
What it’s about:

So many buzzwords, so little time…

EQ or Emotional Intelligence has resurfaced as a key area of focus for the future of work. As technology continues to get more and more sophisticated, easy to use and affordable, we are seeing a massive shift away from technical skills and a new focus on human skills into the future of work.

Can we simply resuscitate EQ models of the past industrial ages or does the future of work demand a new form of Human Intelligence (HQ) to address the emerging skills gap?

What is change management’s role in this space? Is this simply rebranded fluff or are soft skills the new HARD skills?

Let’s unpack and explore…

What we will cover:

In this upcoming panel session we will:

  • Talk about how AI, Robotics and the democratisation of technology in a hyper-connected world is shifting the focus away from technical skills towards human focussed skills (with real industry examples)
  • Demystifying EQ (emotional intelligence) vs HQ (human intelligence)
  • The role human skills might play in the future of work
  • Practical tips and advice on how to strengthen your EQ/HQ muscles and build more resilience in the workforce
