What we resist, persists and any leader in the new normal can certainly relate to people holding onto the old in hope that change will go away. Let’s face it, history has taught us that change in business (and life) is unavoidable, complex and ever accelerating. In today’s hyper-connected world, resistance can take on a whole new shape and size with the democratisation of technology and collaborative tools.

Is there such a thing as irresistible change? What if the struggle has more to do with our own perceptions and beliefs around conflict and resistance? Are there any tools and models that might help us tackle resistance in more inclusive and dynamic ways?

Technology certainly continues to play a role here, but there is a huge pressure on leaders and consultants to reframe, navigate and resolve resistance empathetically if we move forward into the future of work.
